Raises pay, transfer and service matters with the education department on behalf of members.
Helps members with pension, promotion and departmental paperwork at no cost.
Holds union-level meetings through the year, including the annual January gathering.
This site keeps the membership roll for the Anaimalai union. Other units across the state maintain their own rolls.
Membership runs for one year and is renewed at the annual January meeting. Bring your phone number and school name; the office will record your renewal on the spot.

The federation runs a charitable trust. Its executive committee is the federation's state executive committee.
The federation has functioned since 1968.
